About Domenico

Domenico "Mimmo" Tolomeo is a first-generation Italian American with deep roots in southern Italy's bread-making tradition. He joined Orlando Foods as Corporate Chef in July 2022 and co-owns Taglio Pizza in Mineola, NY. Trained under award-winning Master Pizzaioli Roberto and Giorgia Caporuscio, Mimmo earned his certification from the Associazione Pizzaiuoli Napoletani, the governing body of pizza makers in Italy. His achievements include membership in the World Pizza Champions, the 2019 Caputo Rising Star Pizzaiolo award, and serving as Capo Pizzaiolo at the renowned Keste Pizza e Vino.
